Mixing element
Mixing elements are components of a static mixer that are permanently fixed within the pipe. They direct the flow of media in a controlled manner, split the flow streams and recombine them. This results in defined mixing and homogenisation without the use of moving parts. Depending on the application, this also leads to improved heat transfer. Static mixers are characterised by the fact that they operate without any moving parts. Depending on the process requirements, STRIKO offers various types of mixing elements, including Helical, K-Helical, STV, EREStat and STX. The selection of the appropriate type depends on the medium, viscosity, flow rate and permissible pressure drop. Furthermore, STRIKO mixing elements can also be used in shell-and-tube heat exchangers to optimise heat transfer.
