The rupture disc is designed to be pressure loaded and reacts to pressure increases. With our wide product range of metal or non-metal, corrosion-resistant materials we cover a comprehensive range of nominal&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">rupture disc<\/a> and to initiate appropriate measures as a result. When used in conjunction with a compatible signal conditioning unit, it detects the activation of a pressure relief device as well as other relevant factors. If the components are connected to an intrinsically safe circuit, they are classified as so-called simple electrical equipment in accordance with the type of protection &lsquo;Intrinsic Safety i&rsquo;.
