They direct the flow of <a href=\"https:\/\/striko.de\/en\/encyclopedia\/media\/\" target=\"_self\" title='In process engineering, the terminology \"media\" refers to all substances that are transported, processed, mixed, temperature-controlled or contained within plant, vessels or pipework. These include, amongst others, gases, vapours, liquids, solid-liquid mixtures and two-phase flows. The properties of a medium, such as viscosity, density, temperature, pressure, chemical resistance or tendency to cake, are decisive for&hellip;' class=\"encyclopedia\">media<\/a> in a controlled manner, split the flow streams and recombine them. This results in defined mixing and homogenisation without the use of moving parts. Depending on the application, this also leads to improved heat transfer. <a href=\"https:\/\/striko.de\/en\/encyclopedia\/static-mixers\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Static mixers from STRIKO guarantee continuous operation in closed piping systems. They do not have any movable parts and so are virtually wear-free. All mixer variants from STRIKO are maintenance-free, can be cleaned in-line, sterilised\/steamed and slightly detached if required.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Static mixers<\/a> are characterised by the fact that they operate without any moving parts. Depending on the process requirements, STRIKO offers various types of mixing elements, including Helical, K-Helical, STV, EREStat and STX.
